Annual Events:

Each year SORBA-Chattanooga hosts a number of events to promote the sport of mountain biking and for fun.

Singletrack Gear Expo: Each year, in late June, SORBA-Chattanooga hosts the Singletrack Gear Expo at the Chattanooga Market. The event see displays from the majority of the outdoor organizations, gear manufactures as well as local bike and outdoor gear shops.

National Trails Day: Each year SORBA-Chattanooga host a cookout and ride inconjunction with National Trails Day. In 2007, our NTD event drew nearly 100 attendees from as far away as Atlanta, Nashville and Knoxville. In addition to huge cookout and rides, last years' event saw preformances from trials experts Doug and Zach White.

The Booker T. Mountain Bike Race: After nearly five years without a local TBRA mountain bike race, SORBA-Chattanooga and Senic City Velo teamed up to host the first annual Booker T. mountain bike race. All racers completed a parade lap on the blacktop before entering the woods and racing this on this deceptively hard singletrack trails.
