Trail Description
|
|
SORBA-Chattanooga is currently in the process of constructing an approximately 45 mile trail network on TVA's Raccoon Mountain, fifteen minutes from downtown Chattanooga. To get to the trailhead, take TVA Road to the top of the mountain and park in the East Brow Parking Lot on your left. The trail head is marked with a small sign so it may be a little difficult to find your first time out. After parking in the east brow parking lot, get on your bike and ride back out of the parking lot. There are of parking lots on top of the mountain, all with have direct access to the trail. If you find that a parking lot is full, please proceed to the next parking lot. If you park on the grass you vehicle will be ticketed! At the present time 16.5 miles of singletrack have been constructed. Trail work continues. If you wish to help move this project forward please review our calender of events for an upcoming trail work day, and bring a friend.
