First Time Trial Well Attended, Two More Races Scheduled
SORBA-Chattanooga’s first Diamondback Raccoon Mountain Bike Time Trial was a well attended event with 24 racers competing, despite near 100 degree temperatures. This was the first of the three part series. Because only the two best nights results count towards the series winner, you still have a chance to win if you missed the first race.

due to the rain, are you still holding the TT tomorrow?
According to weather.com’s hour-by-hour forecast, we should have another band or rain move through tonight. However, the skies are supposed to clear up tomorrow at 2 am and be sunny all day (Wednesday/Race Day).
Given that Raccoon drains very well, and also considering that the trail were dry and dusty this last week, the trail should probably be in prefect condition by the 6 pm Race Time tomorrow.
If the forecast changes or it doesn’t look like conditions will be acceptable than I will post a notice here.
Anyone wishing an update can call my office between 4 pm and 5 pm to confirm (423) 265-0035.
Respectfully,
Jeffrey S.
